The Trophy Room — Design + Build by MKH Custom Co.
This accessory building was thoughtfully designed as a dedicated space for hosting friends and family, doubling as overflow sleeping quarters during holidays and gatherings. Inside, we crafted intentional wall layouts and vaulted ceilings to showcase the homeowner’s collection of prize wild-game mounts, giving each piece the presence it deserves.

Positioned on a dramatic hillside, the structure sits on a pier-and-beam foundation—an approach chosen to work with the natural slope and to nestle the building exactly where it needed to be: right beside the pool. This placement allows the space to function not only as a trophy room, but also as a convenient, quasi pool house for summer entertaining.

Every detail was considered to create a warm, welcoming extension of the main home—purpose-built, highly personal, and designed for generations of family stories.
