Master Suite Addition & Outdoor Living Expansion
What began as a request for a larger patio evolved into a transformative addition to this 1980s home. With a growing number of grandchildren, the homeowners envisioned a more functional outdoor space for gathering, relaxing, and enjoying time around the pool. During planning, we proposed expanding the home to include a new master suite—an idea they quickly embraced.

The result is a spacious, light-filled retreat. The new master bathroom features a private toilet room, soaking tub, fully tiled shower, and a custom vanity with a seated makeup area and wall-to-wall mirror. A generous walk-in closet offers dedicated space for both homeowners, and the reconfigured bedroom layout includes two new windows for added natural light and views of the backyard.

This was a fully permitted project through the City of Decatur—and we passed every inspection on the first attempt. Our long-standing relationships and proactive communication with the city’s permitting office allow us to streamline the process for our clients, minimizing delays and keeping construction moving smoothly from start to finish.
